Christine and Kevin Wedding

Christine and Kevin were married a few weeks ago at the Hotel Marlowe in Cambridge. I shot their engagement photos a few months ago and had a great time with them so I was really looking forward to their ceremony! The Marlowe is such a cool boutique hotel - really funky rooms and decorations so it made for a great backdrop to their images. Here are a few from their day.

I started out getting some shots of Christine as she got ready.

And then we did a few formals.

The Marlowe has a lounge with this huge padded, red wall. It made for such a unique spot for formals and the lighting was really intimate. I thought these solo portraits were just right for a vintage treatment. They remind me of old arthouse movie posters and Christine rocked the poses!


This next shot was taken by my good friend Jill from Strut Photography who was on hand to assist me that day. She does an awesome job and I thought this shot was perfect. Thanks Jill!

Jemima and Harris

Harris and Jemima were married last weekend and had their reception at the beautiful Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston, MA. The facilities there really were outstanding - definitely worth checking out. They had an enormous guest list, something like 800 people (ok, maybe more like 300?), so I assisted Ashley (of Ashley and Eldo fame) to capture their wedding.

I started out taking some shots of Harris as he got ready.

Alicia and Will Engagements

I had the pleasure of shooting Alicia and Will's engagement session last week at Borderland State Park in Easton. They live in Vancouver now but are getting married in MA this August and I'll be working with them on their wedding. We picked a great spring day and they were a really fun couple to hang out with. Engagement sessions are a great chance to get to know each other and for couples to get some practice being models for a day! Here's a few of my favorites.
