Kate and Josh

Kate and Josh were married a few weekends ago at the Wequassett Inn on the Cape's elbow in Chatham. It was really an amazing place for a ceremony and even though we were threatened with a little rain, the day turned out to be perfect! You guys were awesome and I just want to thank you for letting me be there with you! There were just so many amazing locations at the Wequassett that I had a hard time narrowing down the shots. This is gonna be a long one - buckle up!!

Starting with a few details from their day. Kate's dress was really unique and beautiful.

Here's a few of Kate and her girls getting ready.

Josh and the guys before the ceremony.

Quick game of whiffies...
...and then a quick posed shot.  Very cool vests.
Kate and Josh were going to see each other before the ceremony, so we set up a little "reveal" to capture a special moment as they saw each other all dressed up for the first time.
Always a great moment.
Then we headed over to the Wequassett for a few formals before the ceremony.  Kate looked awesome!
Check out Josh's reflection in the watch.
Another shot of the dudes...
...and I know Kate has her eyes closed in this one, but it just seemed like a nice, calm moment.
All the girls looked great - as usual.

And then off to the ceremony.  Here's Kate and her dad as they approach the aisle.
Great location overlooking the harbor.

Here's an artsy twist on the first kiss.  I liked it.

Then we headed to the beach for a few group shots and some really nice shots of Josh and Kate.  We started with a traditional pose, and then the "pose-off" began!
Kate and Josh in love.

I couldn't settle on which one I liked best so I decided that they'd both get posted...
A couple of reception details.
And here's Kate and Josh's first dance which was really impressive.  They had prepared for this one and it definitely showed!  Nice work guys!

Josh's brother gave a great speech - only to be upstaged by his socks...
The Wequasett had this great dock just off the reception area, so as the sun set we walked out to the end to get a few more shots.  The first one wasn't even staged as Kate and Josh held an impromptu "second dance".

And then we hit the reception which was just a great ending to a perfect day.  The crowd was up all night and everyone totally enjoyed themselves - including me!  Here's a few shots.
There may have been a "dance-off" at one point...

And here's one final shot of Kate and Josh.  Check it out - I even had a little lighting help from a groomsman.

Thanks so much again guys!!  Once Kate told me that you guys were really into your photos I was hooked!  Your day was incredible and I was lucky to be a part of it.  Can't wait to show you the rest because this is just a small taste.  Talk to you soon!
